Morrow County Jail Roster
The official Morrow County inmate records path begins on the sheriff's Correctional Facility page. That page links to the public JDS jail roster, which is the current Morrow County jail roster for people held at the Morrow County Correctional Facility. The roster does not work like a typical search form. It opens as a current list, divided into male and female sections, with a run date and time near the top. During research on June 24, 2026, the roster showed a run time of 09:54, while an earlier capture from the prior day showed 18:54.
That time stamp is important because Morrow County inmate records can change after court, bond posting, release, or transfer. The roster is best read as a current custody list, not a complete archive of every past booking. A person who bonded out, moved to an Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction prison, left on an out-of-county warrant, or entered federal or immigration custody may need a different lookup channel. For current county jail custody, though, the JDS roster is the fastest public source.
The sheriff's roster screenshot in the image inventory shows the same JDS page used for current Morrow County inmate records. Source: Morrow County JDS jail roster.
The row layout matters because Morrow County inmate records are read across the page, with custody, charge, court, bail, attorney, and release fields appearing in separate columns.
Use Morrow County Inmate Records
Because the JDS roster did not show a public name box during research, the practical search method is different from an offender-search portal. Open the roster, confirm that the page is current, then use the browser's find command to look for a last name. If the name is common, scan the surrounding columns before assuming the match is correct. Court labels, book date, arresting agency, and release date can separate two similar names.
- Open the sheriff's Correctional Facility page and select the "View Jail Roster" button.
- On the JDS roster, confirm the run date and time before reading any Morrow County inmate records.
- Use browser find for a last name, then scan both the male and female sections.
- Read across the row for Jail ID, photo column, charges, court, disposition, bail, SID, book date, attorney, next court date, arresting agency, and release date.
- If the person is not listed, call the jail at 419-947-1151 or records and administration at 419-947-4845.
Do not treat a missing roster row as proof that no arrest occurred. The Morrow County jail roster focuses on current local custody. Older booking records, pending investigative reports, release details, or incident reports may require the sheriff's records channel rather than the roster. For a deeper look at the public booking-photo column, use the Morrow County jail mugshots page.
Morrow County Roster Fields
The Morrow County jail roster is distinctive because the public version is a roster page rather than a form-driven search. The search-field table below reflects what was documented in the research file and what should be expected when reading current inmate records from JDS.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| No public search input observed | Roster/list page | Not applicable | The page displays current entries directly instead of asking for name, booking number, date of birth, facility, or charge filters. |
| Males / Females | Section headings | Not applicable | Current Morrow County inmate records are grouped by gender section. |
| Run Date/Time | Page timestamp | Not applicable | Example observed in research: 06/24/2026 - 09:54. |
| View Jail Roster | Sheriff page button | Not applicable | The sheriff's Correctional Facility page is the official route to the JDS roster. |
Morrow County Inmate Profile Fields
A Morrow County inmate record is useful only if the columns are read in context. The roster can show multiple charges for one person, and the court or disposition field can differ by charge line. A bail value of $.00 may mean no bail is tied to that row, but it does not always mean the person can leave. Probation violations, out-of-county warrants, 48-hour holds, and bond revocations can block release even when one field looks simple.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Jail ID | Local or vendor inmate identifier used on the Morrow County jail roster. |
| Photo | Booking-photo column; actual photo display can vary by entry and page load. |
| Name | Name in last-name-first format, sometimes with middle name or suffix. |
| Charges | Arrest or hold labels, not always the final court charge. |
| Court | Court tied to the charge or hold, such as Municipal Court, Common Pleas, or Out Of County. |
| Current Disposition | Status terms such as Sentenced, Unsentenced, Dismissed Per Court, or Unsentenced-Out Of County Warrant. |
| Total Bail | Bail amount shown for the charge or custody line. |
| SID# | Ohio state identification number when present. |
| Book Date | Date the person was booked into the Morrow County Correctional Facility. |
| Attorney | Defense attorney field when the roster has one listed. |
| Next Court Date | Next hearing field, often blank in observed records. |
| Arresting Agency | Agency responsible for the arrest or hold, including agencies other than the sheriff. |
| Release Date | Projected or actual release date field when populated. |
Observed Morrow County inmate records included charge labels such as probation violation, failure to appear, burglary, grand theft, domestic violence, OVI, and out-of-county warrant. They also showed arresting agencies such as Morrow County, Probation, Ohio State Patrol, Knox County SO, and Shelby PD.
Morrow County Records Requests
When the roster is not enough, the sheriff's Records page gives the official fallback for reports and public records. The Records Division says police reports can be requested by calling 419-947-4845 with the report number, date, or address available. The same page lists reports@morrowcountysheriff.com for report requests, and the public-records policy also lists reports@morrowcountysheriff.org. The safest approach is to check the current records page before sending detailed personal information.
Public records are available at the sheriff's office from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except county holidays adopted by the Morrow County Commissioners. Reports are not released until completed by the deputy and approved by the chief deputy. Investigator notes are not public record, reports still under investigation will not be released, and Social Security numbers are redacted under Ohio law. The policy cites Ohio Revised Code 149.43 as the public-records framework.

This fallback matters when the current jail roster does not show a released person, an older report, or an item that needs redaction review.
| Records Channel | How to Use It |
|---|---|
| Phone | Call records and administration at 419-947-4845. |
| Use reports@morrowcountysheriff.com or reports@morrowcountysheriff.org as shown on sheriff records materials. | |
| In person | Go to 101 Home Road, Mt. Gilead, OH 43338 during public-records hours. |
| Copies | Recorded-document copies were listed at $0.10 per page; video production was listed at $75.00 per hour up to $750.00. |
Morrow County Custody Lookups
Morrow County inmate records should be routed by custody type. The county roster covers current jail custody at the Morrow County Correctional Facility. It does not replace the state prison locator, federal prison locator, ICE locator, court dockets, or VINE notifications. This distinction is the main way to avoid false negatives when a person is not shown on JDS.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | Use When |
|---|---|---|
| County jail | Morrow County JDS roster | The person may be held pretrial, on a misdemeanor sentence, on a warrant, or on a local hold. |
| State prison | ODRC Offender Search | The person was sentenced to Ohio prison, is under APA supervision, was released from prison, or is a violator at large. |
| Custody notification | Ohio VINE | A victim, family member, or case watcher needs automated custody or case-status notices. |
| Federal sentence | BOP inmate locator | The person is a sentenced federal inmate from 1982 to present. |
| Immigration custody | ICE Online Detainee Locator | The person may be in ICE custody or CBP custody for more than 48 hours. |
Note: A transfer can move a person from the county roster to ODRC, BOP, ICE, or another jail without a long public explanation.
State and Federal Search Fields
The ODRC Offender Search is the correct tool for sentenced Ohio prison custody and Adult Parole Authority status. Its search options are broader than the Morrow County jail roster. ODRC allows name searching, county of commitment, residential county, zip code, status, parole-hearing date, and offender number. ODRC notes also caution that less search criteria can work better than too much criteria, and county of commitment means sentencing county, not current residence.
Federal records use a different structure. The BOP name search supports first, middle, and last name plus race, sex, and age. BOP also allows number searches by register number, DCDC number, FBI number, or INS number. ICE searches can use A-number and country of birth or biographical information. These systems do not turn the Morrow County jail roster into a federal booking-photo or court-record source.
- Booking
- Jail intake after arrest or commitment.
- SID
- State identification number when one is tied to the person.
- Detainer
- A hold from another agency that may affect release.
- APA
- Ohio Adult Parole Authority supervision, searched through ODRC.
- VINE
- Victim and custody notification service, not the master jail record.
Morrow County Jail Contact
The Morrow County Correctional Facility is the only detention facility identified in the county facility map. It is operated by the Morrow County Sheriff's Office and is in the same building as the sheriff's office. Use the jail line for current custody questions, and use records or administration when the issue is a report, public-records request, or archived information.

Morrow County Booking Records
Local booking details are not published as a full intake script, so Morrow County booking records must be read through the roster fields and Ohio jail standards. A typical jail intake creates the public data that appears later: Jail ID, book date, charge labels, arresting agency, court, disposition, bail, SID when present, attorney when listed, next court date when populated, and release date when available. Exact booking time, fingerprints, medical screening, property inventory, address, date of birth, and housing unit were not visible in the public roster text captured for the research file.
Ohio full-service jail standards in OAC Chapter 5120:1-8 provide the broader framework for security, reception and release, mail, visitation, health care, food service, discipline, and staff training. Those rules explain the kinds of processes a full-service county jail must maintain, but they do not supply a public Morrow County booking log beyond the roster. If the roster does not show a new arrest, call the jail before assuming the person was released or never booked.
Morrow County Inmate Visits
Morrow County visitation is video-based. The sheriff's jail page says visits must be scheduled at least 12 hours in advance and that a visit may be terminated 10 minutes after the scheduled time if the visitor does not log in. Non-contact visits may occur in the public lobby visitation area or online through the internet. The ICSolutions Morrow County Jail visitation page says visitor registration is required at no cost.

| Scheduling | Schedule at least 12 hours in advance. |

Morrow County Inmate Services
The sheriff's facility page links Access Corrections for money deposits, ICSolutions for phone and video services, and Ohio Counties Packages for the package program. Effective July 19, 2012, the jail accepts only cash at the jail window for inmate accounts and does not accept mailed checks or money orders for those accounts. That rule is for inmate accounts, not a published bond-payment rule.
The sheriff also publishes a Morrow County Sheriff Ohio app page. The official app descriptions emphasize public safety alerts, news, weather alerts, tips, crime reporting, and community communication. The research did not confirm an app-only roster or app-only warrant lookup, so the app should be treated as an alert and communication channel rather than a substitute for the JDS roster.

The app can support alerts and public safety updates, but the current Morrow County inmate records lookup remains the JDS roster and sheriff records channel.
